just arrived in Salta today after spending quite a few days in Cordoba...was never the plan to go there but we heard it had a pretty good night life, so felt we had to check it out!! We had a pretty crappy bus ride to Cordoba and we didnt really sleep much, and we couldnt check into our hostel for 4 hours after we arrived which we werent too happy about...but we just took over the sofas and passed out there until we were woken up and told to check in!! we just walked around the town for the first day and relaxed in the plaza for a while and took a really long lunch...the usual lomo completo (steak sandwhich with almost everything you could imagine chucked in with it!) needed a walk after that! Didnt go out that night as we were still pretty tired so just played cards and had a few beers....

The next day we woke up to find Elektra and Hannah waiting in reception which was a nice suprise! So we spent the day chilling out with them on the roof terrace and topping up our tan...we also went on a little city tour which was pretty cool and tasted some mate - which is like this coffee drink that everrryone in South America is addicted to. It tasted pretty disgusting to me though! We had a little nap of course, and then headed down to the bar for an argentine asado (BBQ) which was delicious and had about 8 steaks each! couldnt move much afte that! Then we played quite a few drinking games with the boxed wine we bought - everyone did take the piss out of our wine, but it was 40p for a box! Bargain! Went out to a pretty good club at about 2 with everyone....a really good night!!

Spent the next few days with the girls and some really nice Irish guys we met....sunning ourselves on the roof terrace, eating chocolate yoghurts and lots of panchos!! Spent the evenings drinking too much wine from a box, playing cards and drinking games and listening to the boys play the guitar...which was pretty fun! of course we managed to fit a bit of shopping in too!

we were supposed to leave on Monday but we were having a good time so booked in for another night....Everyone else was heading to Buenos Aires, and it was hard for us to resist booking a ticket there too as we loved it and the guys were really nice! but we did the logical thing instead and booked a bus to Salta...so that´s where we are now!
