Friday 29th January.

Today was the day we ditched the Camper van. Neither of us could spend another day in it, it's definitely not something for the summer months, it's way too hot. Before we took it back we went in to Brisbane centre and went for lunch at Jamie's Italian. We tried to find somewhere to eat that we wouldn't have at home but it was just so big and busy, as well as hot, we gave in to Jamie's. We didn't realise how long we were there and had to rush back to the hostel to get the camper van to get it back before the office closed. It was about a half hour drive out of the centre and we got there and dropped the keys. They told us they would be in touch with us with a quote about the roof damage. Oops. We got a train back to Brisbane centre and found we had new room mates from Canada and Germany so we spoke to them for a while. I headed down to the bar to wait for Kirsty and met Jacob from Denmark who was travelling alone. When Kirsty joined us we attempted to play a board game called Cranium until we realised we needed more friends as you need a few people in teams. We laughed about it and said we would try again when we had more people. After a couple of hours we went to bed, ready for a fresh day tomorrow.
