Lisa's Big Adventure
We were at the bus station at 6:45am on Saturday morning as we wanted to get the 7am bus to Cesky Krumlov, a little down in the south of the Czech republic. The bus ride was 3 hours but we slept most of the way.
By the time we got there, all 5 of us were more with it, and hungry so we dashed into the nearest cafe for a drink and brekky - only since they didn't serve breakfast, we ended up with apple strudel and a hot chocolate. What a shame :)
We then wandered around Cesky Krumlov, popping into the little shops and Lis started buying jewellery (very cheap). It was a lovely little town and well worth the bus ride. Another yummy lunch (prawn cocktail for starters and schnitzel for main) costing £3! And then we continued on, visiting a dodgy museum of torture (Lis's idea that wasn't worth the 50p entry fee!) the castle, complete with 2 brown bears and doing some more shopping/browsing.
We caught a 3:30pm bus back to Prague
I would definately say that anyone who goes to Prague should get out and go to Cesky Krumlov for a day. The 3 hour bus trip was pain but worth it.
