Day 13 - Hired some bikes today, as we thought it would be the best way of seeing the beaches and places around Hermosa! Was so funny, seeing none of us had ridden a bike for years! Bikes in America don't have hand brakes, they have foot ones, and I also do not have a good history with bikes as the family know. Think I did almost give Vicky a heart attack when I couldn't stop and was a couple of inches from crashing into a car, shouldn't really say that it will worry the mum! Rode up to Redondo Beach which was really nice, had a walk around there but it was so quiet as the semi-finals for the super bowl were on that day so most people were in bars. On the way back on the bike ride stopped at the Cheesecake Factory! OMG heaven! Couldn't even begin to describe the place, we all got massive slices of cheesecake which we ate on the pier. Mine was a chocolate Oreo mudslide piece of cheesecake soooo good!
