Day 145 - 146: we arrived in air lie beach about 9:30 but didn't get a chance to stop and relax after our long bus journey as we were jumping straight onto a sailing boat for our 2 day tour around the whitsundays. We just had the chnace to jump in the lagoon and wash off before before heading down to the Marina and joining our sailing boat the Boomerang. Over the next two days we sailed around the beautiful whitsundays stopping to snorkel along coral reefs that make up the great barrier reef and spent an afternoon at whithaven beach national park. In the evenings we anchored and enjoyed some good food and a few glasses of goon. We also got involved in the sailing of the boat, helping the raise the sails.
147: we made our way back to dry land after 2 days and nights at sea. We had one more day in airlie beach so spent the afternoon at the lagoon (even though we are at the beach you can't swim in the ocean because of the deadly jelly fish!). In the evening everyone on our boat met for some drinks. Lisa also bumped into someone she went to school with, but can't remember his name.
