As it turned out I was Spaz's (the guy who runs the resort) only customer so he was really nice to me & took it upon himself to show me the island. The first night we were going to go across the island to see it all lit up but when we got to Thong Sala & stopped to get some petrol, Spaz locked the keys in the moped. It was hilarious though - we had to hitch-hike back to Haad Rin. So we bought the guy who rescued us a drink & then went & partied for a bit but soon I wasn't feeling well. turns out i had food poisoning so for the next 2 days I was out of action, not sure what caused it. I'm, still not eating properly now though - it's put me off food a bit. Then the next day i found out my credit card had been stolen & over 1500 pounds had been spent on it so I spent most of the day on the phone to the bank. I didn't even realise it had been stolen but I think it may have been on the bus from Cambodia. Bank says I'll get it back though so it's not too bad, just a pain trying to sort it out.

The island was really quiet & I wasn't really enjoying myself but then my friends turned up who I met in Laos & we went to a pool party which was amazing. I've never seen so many people in one pool & I heard it took them 3 days to clean it afterwards. I think there was more beer in there than water. The party was still going strong at 5am when I left. Everyone started coming over for the full moon party so it soon started getting busy. Spaz started getting more customers which was cool coz they were a really nice bunch.

On the 20th we all went to the full moon party all done up in UV paint. As soon as we hit the beach though we all lost each other, it was so busy. They said when it's high season there can be 10,000 people on the beach at one time. It was mad. I met up with Nick & his friend which was really cool although Nick had to be in a class the next day so he was probably hanging a bit considering he didn''t leave the island until 7am. We watched the sun come up & then I headed home (I had to because i was starting to get sunburnt ha ha) but there were still hundreds of people partying on the beach (& an awful lot asleep on the beach as well). It was well worth it!

I'm gonna miss Spaz & his girlsfriend who took care of me when i was ill. They have this dog called Indiana & he's always running off & causing problems. He's made friends with a little ginger kitten that comes around & he carries it around in his mouth & shares his food with it. It's so sweet! I left today to go to Samui. I'm meeting Nick later & I think some of the others will be over tomorrow or the day after. And Gramps you'll be pleased to know that I didn't drink (only a tiny bit) the whole time I was in Phangngan! It's got to be a record ha ha. I'll upload pics soon xxx
