9th june our first day without jackie which was really strange! we had a morning flight to phuket, where we then head straight for phi phi ... the boat journey was lovely and the sun was blazing, a sign of good weather ahead from the start of the week! :) after a traumatic time finding a place to stay, and lugging our luggage around, on and off taxi boats (which was interesting to say the least) we finally found a place to stay! it was right on the beach and fairly cheap too, though a bit of a sweat pit as we went for option of a fan room!

9th - 15th Phi Phi we originally booked 4 nights here and intended on moving to phuket for a couple of ngihts, but we loved it so much that we spent the whole 6 nights in phi phi ... lots of sun in the day, and lots of partying at night! this week was like our 'holiday' in the travelling, just chilling and enjoying not having to pack and unpack every other day.. the room was a bit of an explosion! (well a lot of one really!) we spent a day on a speed boat with some danish guys that we met (we didnt have to pay-bonus), we went for a swim in the sea coves and then to Maya beach, the cove where 'the beach' with leo di caprio was filmed! :) it was so stunning, def the most beautiful beach i have ever seen! also a very fun day! the other days we pretty much spent either by the pool or the beach (30 secs away) sunbathing and being hungover! we also indulged in a massage! :) the nights were busy enough but not heaving which was good! we spent first couple of nights our end of the island at bars called carpe diem and bora bora, there were flame throwers, games etc .. we made friends with a group of guys from sheffield (who were staying at our accomodation) and spent the other 4 days with them, the other nights we head on over to the beach on the other side where it was a bit more lively! bars called apache and ibiza where we just partied on the beach and consumed many buckets of alcohol until early hrs of the morning, walking back along the coast with birds cheaping and sun rising! lol. in short....we loved it and i def cant wait to go back again! :)

15th the boat journey of death and doom!!! our last day on phi phi and the bad weather set in (def a sign that we left at right time), the ferry ride to phuket was awful! the sea was so rough the front of the boat was actually taking off and landing! eek! we then spent the night in a hotel near the airport!
