16th kuala lumpar the second journey of death and doom, the plane to kuala lumpar! ... oh my god as if being scared of flying wasnt already bad enough! i had a really bad feeling about the flight and i was right... the stormy weather was still in force and it was really windy! we had the worst 20 minutes of turbulance i have ever experienced ... our bums were actually leaving the seats, and i know its a bit dramatic guys but i actually filled up with tears and thought it might crash! we then only had one afternoon in KL, we really wanted to go see the Petronus towers (twin towers) but were too late to get tickets which was a shame! we spent the afternoon learning about muslim culture..went to the muslim art museum and to the national mosque, we wanted to go see the butterfly park but were too close to the closing time to get in. basically as we had such little time in KL we were limited what we could fit in! loved KL though, and the fact that people all spoke english was quite refreshing! the hostel we stayed in was nice and the staff were really helpful!...which helped us to get around the city etc.

17th/18th singapore we got a bus to singapore, and i managed to sleep the whole 5 hrs to the border lol, though understandably as it had reclining seats,rising footrests and a massage setting!!! by the time we got to singapore we didnt have much time that afternoon... that night we went to the night safari at the safari park which was really cool!!! then the next day we went to battlebox, which was used by the brits in world war two.. and had some education about the war in singapore and when they surrendered to the japs etc! we then went for lunch on clarke quay, at Hooters!!! that was all we had time to fit in, then we hadto head to the airport for our flight to cairns,oz! :)
