I'm Off! Ready or Not.... A bit surreal to be heading off for 7 months without Tom- but we'll be in touch and I'll see him in 3 months. It's all coming back to me - how awesome it is to be on a travel adventure in places i've never been to before. Asia is a well-travelled backpacker trail but its new to me. Travel days are long - but provide great people watching opportunities! make it enjoyable. I fully expect to see 100 Buddhas - and probably before the week is out! Just saw my first Shrine ( in Bangkok airport), a monk in his beautiful orange robes talking on his cell phone while toting a swanky suitcase (?!), and had a spiritual moment in Seoul airport (vicariously) when a man doffed his shoes, laid his coat on the ground and completely unselfconsciously conducted his evening prayer ritual. We're not in Kansas anymore Toto....
