Got up at 9 this morning, had a good breakfast and then hit the road to Universal Studios. It is truly a magical place. We tried every major ride there is, House of Horror, King Kong 3D, studio roundtrip, Zombietown, Terminator 2 IMAX 3D simulator show, Jurassic Park, The Mummy rollercoaster, Waterworld and the movie animals show. It was worth every dollar, an experience we'll never forget. We also ate the best strawberry pie ever. Later on we drove through Hollywood Hills, Sunset Boulevard and Beverly Hills. Incredible mansions, makes one feel poor :-). We are gonna do this trip daytime on wednesday just to see the mansions close by. We then changed clothes and went to an italian restaurant at Third Street Promenade, Linda had a Ravioli Ricotta e spinaci and i took an antipasto plate, delicious meal. Now at home watching TV. Tomorrow is going to be our first calm day, just gonna go down to the beach for sun and swimming and probably some exercise in form of speedwalking.
I might even try the muscle beach, hopefully without making an ass of myself :-)
