Day 42 16/6/18
Today I woke up with lots of room, because the boys were in the tent out side, peace and quiet! Everyone was still in bed but dad and I woke up and made pancakes which were delicious because I made them and I am an expert thanks to Daddy. We left some pancake mix so later on we can make some bush donuts. We all got dressed and watched Tom work hard to cut fire wood, then went down to the beach with mum and dad. We couldn't swim because there were salt water crocodiles. We found some pretty shells and went and stood next to dad because he said he could see something poking his head out of the water, we all saw it and thought it was a croc so we slowly walked backwards. We ended up seeing lots of them and they slowly came closer to shore, and we realised that they were turtles poking their heads out of the water. We came back to the campsite and had a salad wrap for lunch and said goodbye to Tom, Dad and Cam because they were going fishing on a boat, I really wish I could got but there were only 3 spots left, but mum said in Darwin I can do something the boys can't. When the boys left Stu and I played phones, then made bush donuts. Step 1. Get done white bread and put a blob of jam in the middle
Step 2. Fold the bread and ham in half and cut the crust off.
Step 3. Pinch the sides so the jam doesn't fall out.
Step 4. Dip it in pancake mixture and fri it on both sides.
Step 5. Eat!
They were very yummy but didn't really taste like donuts. After mum had a shower and Stu and I played phones again. When mum got out of the shower we went down to the beach and played in a little rock pool, we found lots of pretty shells and watched a lady catch a shark on a fishing rod!! It was a metre long and the lady's husband came in the water and tryed to pull it in but the thread snapped and she was really disappointed. We came back and got some dry sticks for the fire and then we had a shower. We set dinner up and then went to the office to wate for the boys to come back. When they finally came back at 6:00 we cooked the fish they cough, and they told us all about it. Cam cough a shark and dad got 2 sharks, Tom got they ugliest fish and a 48 cm long fish and they said it was awesome. We had dinner and instead of a fire we had some chocolate and saved the fire for the next night.
