Day 34 8/6/18
Today I woke up and Dad made us pancakes they were really yummy, he's getting better! We dressed in our swimmers and got ready to go to Bell's Gorge. The walk in was only about 1.5km, along a stream. My boots got completely saturated as we crossed the big pool above the falls. We climbed up a steep hill and down some big loose rocks to find a huge waterfall flowing down stairs to a large pool where we were going to swim! As we were going in we all fell over on the mossy rocks. It was very cold to start with but we got used to it. We swam over to the waterfall and put our heads under. It was a bit scary and loud and the current was pushing me away from it. We made a waterslide by splashing water onto some slippery rocks and then sliding down, it was hilarious and Tom now has a hole in his swimmers! When we got out we had to get dressed in front of other people but I didn't care. We walked up and down to get back to the top pool and Cam had a bit of a fall as he was crossing. I nearly did too.
After we got home, we were chilling out and painting when we got some new neighbours from Melbourne who were travelling the opposite way to us. Their daughter Kenna is only two days younger than me and we are really similar because we both do the same level in gymnastics and we both like the same things. It was amazing to have a girl to play with! We had a campfire an invited our neighbours to toast some marshmallows with us. When we came back to the tent we started doing gymnastics on each other! It was fun until our parents made us go to bed.
