"You guys are f***ing crazy!!!!" - P!NK, 19th May 2007, Perth....
Well its been a crazy few days over here in Perth and I barely have enough time to write this but I actually enjoying writing to you all so much that I've given up a beer in the pub to sit here for half an hour and talk to you all...
...so I left off with having just arrived in Perth. I think I lied a bit about the weather, since we got here the weather has been perfect - the sun shining, not too many clouds and tempratures of around 25 degress! Everyday has started with breakfast, sat by the pool in the early morning sunshine. I swear if every morning could start like this there would be a lot less stress in the world!!
Perth was always going to be crazy due to a certain young lady called P!NK. Yes it was her opening night on Wednesday and what a surreal but totally amazing day it turned out to be. Throughout her winter tour we played the game of how many layers of clothing we could put on before sitting in freezing cold tempratures for hours barely being able to move. However it certainly wasnt like that here!! We spent the morning sunbathing by the pool, then I chucked on a pair of shorts, a vest and flip flops and made our way into central Perth. I have been so chilled out and relaxed that I didnt even think about the fact I was going to a gig and didnt even feel the need to really dress up and make an effort - it was great!! Whilst strolling around town with my Iced Mocha Frap we bumped into Reina, one of P!Nks dancers, and we all chatted for a while. It was so strange being over the other side of the world and seeing her. It still hadnt quite sunk in that I was in Australia and going to see P!NK that night. She said it was really good to see us and it was like the whole P!NK family could all be together again ....anyway I could go on forever talking about the run upto the show but my blogs are long enough as it is! All you need to know is that P!NK was amazing and it was good to be dancing my pants off again to her tunes.....
After the show things got crazier and we spent the night in a couple of bars in Northbridge. Things got off to a slow start but after a good few shots the party was started and the drinks were flowing. We had an amazing time with the guys and wow never give me a shot of blue galiano again....I was lucky - only charli got to see me projectile vomit into the dustbin by the bar - NICE!!! Once I had got that out of my system it was back to the dance floor - mostly to drag Charli away from sleazy men :oP Getting home was a nightmare as carrying/dragging a drunken Charli isnt easy at the best of times let alone when your drunk yourself!! Time of arrival to our beds - 6am....it wouldve been earlier if charli hadnt decided to lock herself in the toilet and fall asleep - note to Tasha, never take your eyes off that girl when shes had one too many  A few friendships were fixed today and a lot more friendships made..it was an awesome night!
Ok so yesterday was almost as crazy and maybe even more so....lunch was provided by Bex - thank you, was nice!! hahahah we had a lovely experience with a drunken lady whilst eating. I wont tell you about it as it will make me go red and shy but no doubt my other so called friends will have pleasure in telling you all about it if you ask!! Â We didnt know wether to go and see P!NK again that night but seeing as our weekly budget had gone in one night we thought why the hell not....We werent at the front for opening night but we were in our usual places tonight and it was so good to be back..everyone had seen us the night before but nothing beats our usual spot at the corner of the catwalk on stage left....we left on a very big high and that carried on until the early hours with more catching up with everyone......
Today is our last day in Perth and after a morning by the pool we spent the afternoon in a place called Subiaco. Its a little district with markets, cute shops and some very nice bars and resturants. I finally bought some new sun glasses, I only put them on as a joke but almost immediatley both Bex and Charli told me how hot that looked - that did it for me and I left with $20 less in my purse
I have had a good few days here and again I will leave this city knowing that I will come back and discover what else it has to offer. Has anybody else this trend of me falling in love with everywhere Im going?!!! hahaha!! And on the subject of being in love with Australia so far I think its about time I told you all - Tasha has extended her stay and I'm not due back in the UK until 8th June. I thought long and hard about changing my plans and I just knew I had to stay for aslong as I could. I have always loved travelling and to finally be out in Australia is like a living a dream and I dont want it to end just yet. You only live once and I'm sure as hell trying to make the most of every minute of it...........
