Hello, I'm back....I thought after a few days of rest from my essays you people needed something more to read....

So after our exciting day at Moreton Island and after recovering from boomnetting it was off to do our next activity....oh yes, Tasha and Charli decided it was time to go try out the waves and fit in some surf lessons! The morning started early when missy decided to get up at around 6am to wake me up, while dancing of course, as she needed some helping getting a cockroach out of our room...Naturally I was half asleep and refused to move and with a little bit of a panic she managed to do it herself - well done my love! Back off to sleep for a few hours then it was time to be picked up by Scott and his little dog before being driven to a beautiful little cove and given a surf board to carry for about half a mile (or so it seemed in the heat!!!) Scott and Craig - the instructors, were fantastic guys and within about 10 minutes of showing us the ropes on how to surf we were both in the sea and standing on our first attempt....Wow, I absolutely loved it!! Who needs snowboarding and the cold when you can surf?! I think Tasha has found a new hobby (Dont worry mother, I wont be coming home with a surf board just yet!!) After 2 hours of fun with the board we headed back to camp (our hostel which by now we have grown to adore ) We chilled out by the pool, played some basketball and volleyball, in the pool (very nice!!) and headed straight back to the beach for some fun on the boogie boards....

...It was to be our last night in Surfers and we thought we might as well leave in style...A few of our friends (Dave, Tom, Lawrence, Sophie and Lucy plus a few randoms I cant remeber) all sat around drinking the infamous hostel punch (Its disgusting - cheap wine called goon, sherry, orange stuff, maybe some more alcohol of some sort) But boy does it do the job!! After a few cups of that we were playing stupid games and acting just like you should at my age (not!!)..Into town we headed with the gang and straight into Shooters - of course us backpackers get free entry and a free drink so its all good...Managed to loose everybody apart from Dave so we headed for some food..Charli was nowhere to be seen, but dont fear I made sure she knew the hostel - well done charli for writing it on your arm!! What a night it turned out to be. Managed to loose Dave aswell and ended up partying with about 5 or so fantastic Aussie girls who really do prove its a very small world..... I strolled back into the hostel at about 8am ( - thanks for the ride girlie!!) and did my final packing for Brisbane....

....so Brisbane - got there, walked around, saw a few sights, had starbucks, decided we missed surfers too much, packed overnight bags and got on the train to what we are now calling home - however much I thought this place was rather Club 18-30, I have grown to love it. The people, the lifestyle, the sea, beach, surf, everything - Ive totally fallen for it and dont want to leave...we are going to stay one more night and then head to Brisbane Sunday night so we can catch our Flight to Cairns....I will be back here oneday for sure!!

So there you have it, another few days of my Australian adventure. Time seems to be flying by but we are making the most of every minute of it. Tonight is our last night here so its off to doll ourselves up (ooo I think I forgot to mention that one is now staying in a very nice hotel for a few nights ), go on all the extreme adrenaline rides and then party the night away in true Tasha & Charli style...no doubt another hangover is on its way!!!

Adios amigos and struth my essays arent getting any shorter...but fair dinkum , I now you all love reading them..hahahahah!!

Louise - I will def give you a run for your money, Im up for some fun in Newquay/Cornwall this summer...like you said it wont be the same but its gotta be done!!

Amy - hahahah, yes the helicopter crash was an after thought but I was way to excited to type everything else!

Nat - Dont worry, I'll be home for lots of summer sessions in 131!!!
