Hellloooo!!!!

Ok so Ive got about 15 minutes to bang this blog out....what an epic few days we've had...Just to make you all jealous Im currently sitting in a cafe in surfers paradise, in nothing more than a vest, bottoms and my thongs (yes, they arent called flip flops here!!)

The 22 hour journey was a mission but thank god they kept me well fed...I think I had about 6 meals, plus ice cream, fruit and a goody bag during the flights...Bangkok was fun, even if it was only 2 hours of wandering around an airport but boy was it good to strech my legs!!! We arrived in Sydney yesterday (I think!) and the hostel was the cleanest I've ever seen...we decided to catch a few hours sleep and then leave to explore about midday..however neither of us woke up until a man announced theres was a BBQ with free ice cream - it was now 7pm!!!After a good feeding we venutred out to grab our first few drinks and start checking sydney out....it was fun, after 4 drinks we were really ready to party...We even bumped into a guy that befriended us at Bangkok airport - so random!!! At one point I thought I was famous when a lovely looking chap approached me and said, 'Are you Natasha Tourick' so I asked him how the news had spread so fast of my arrival - he then handeed me my passport that I had dropped on the floor - not clever Tasha!!!

This morning, after waking charli up at about 5am, we grabbed a gorgeous iced coffee and enjoyed the free hostel breakfast...We then took the most amazing walk through the Botnical Gardens of Sydney and headed to the harbour and opera house. Im not one to enjor flowers that much but these plants, flowers and trees were gorgeous, some of the most beatiful I have ever seen - mother, you wouldve loved them! After a few photo sessions we headed back to the hostel t make our way here, to the gold coast.....

...the airport was fun - charli fell over and had to have 2 old men pick her up, I got my bag stuck in the hand luggage sign and had to pick up the sign to remove it - guess you had to be there!! Then Madame dedided to loose her boarding pass :oP Cant ttake this one anywhere....

...After a successful short flight we made it to surfers paradise..it took a little longer than expected as I decided we should walk to our hostel rather than catch the mini bus - not much fun in 30degree heat with a bag as big as a suitcase on your back!!!

I fear I could chat on for ages here but as Im against the clock I shall bid farewell for a few days..and I do apologise if this blog is all over the place - so much to tell already that I cant get it all out..
