Since a couple of days we are cruising up the East coast of Australia and I start realising how this journey has changed me already. I can tell that I think a lot more about my destiny and happiness than I did before this trip. But this is what this whole journey is also about, besides visiting all those amazing places, right? Having time to think about what makes you happy in life and how you want to spend it. Our road is full of signs and whereever we go there seems to be a message hidden for us. So also in the last book I read as you can see in the title photo.
We also seem to attract people who want to talk to us about the sense of life. But I guess travelers in general are people who search for more so that is also why this subject comes up more often than usual.
The quintessence seems to be the following quotation from Buddha:
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
So people, go for it, do whatever makes you happy and you will see how easy life is.
We also keep doing what we love, which is: lying at amazing beaches such as in Byron Bay or now here in Noosa. And it turns out we are pretty good at it ;), which is a good thing because we can't afford to do much more than that. Australia is sooo expensive, everything costs a fortune. But maybe that's just how it is meant to be. The universe wants us to take some time off and have more time to relax and read and just enjoy!
We were in Brisbane the last couple of days and are happy to be back at the beach where we can get up in the morning and watch the sunrise or go for a swim with the sharks in the afternoon ;). So far we haven't seen any poisonous animals even though Esther can't talk of anything else (just kidding). But that's good because otherwise I wouldn't waste not one thought to it which is not good either I guess. So as you can see, we complement each other but somehow kirstin is missing who always reminded us of our stuff which was still lying around or the bus ticket we haven't Printed out yet. But so far we haven't forgotten our backpack anywhere, which is all we need!
