Back into Christchurch (which everybody whinges about) but had a really nice time! I got the early morning train from Christchurch to Kaikoura and met Hiske at the Hostel. My 4 day stay in Queenstown has been great. A few people from my bus are staying there a few months and getting jobs and people you know from earlier on arrive so it's just like a huge reunion! Spent the whole of today in and around Milford sound which was nice. We got to a tunnel and the light remained red for ages, our driver got out and apparently there had been a rock slide the other side and no one knew if we could get through.....so our driver decided to try! On the way to Te Anau we had a farm stop. We got to feed the lambs, watch the dogs herding the sheep, drive a quad bike and (wait for it...) shear a sheep!!! My sheep (of course!) freaked out after I'd sheared about an inch and I then (of course) freaked out and thought I was hurting it so gave up.
