Evidentally quite a large city for South Island but not very big. We were here for one night again and it was raining but we managed to fit in going to a brewery for a tour! We only spent one night in Nelson but it was very productive! We didn't do any sightseeing as we were there only about 15 hrs overnight but we did go the centre of NZ (even though I was just told the centre is really off the coast in the sea!)rnFinally I did my 1st full load of washing since Art's, there was nowhere to dry it though and we did 1/2 hr shifts on the radiator for 3 1/2 hrs drying it! Well we stayed in Taupo for 2 nights. The hostel was nice and we had en suite!! Unfortunately it was freezing cold though, I had to sleep with most of my clothes on and a hat.
