Well we only spent one full day at the Bay of Islands but the hostel is really really nice and we went on a massive boat tour and saw dolphins right up by the side of the boat, they were rubbing along it- so good, unfortunately we didnt get to swim with them as there were babies with them but it was so cool anyway. Well we stayed in Auckland for 3 nights, was knackered when we got there cos of all the flying and transfers.
