Wollongong...I liked this city. I bought a wombat for Ebifa which is delicacy. The camp site was really nice and even had a swimming pool but it was closed when we wanted to use it- typical! The site was right by the beach. We ate at some Italian place and the Italians were really suprised that we were English and weren't football fanatics. Then we went to the cinema and saw Zodiac because Brett is in love with Jake Gyllenhaal. It was a really good film but scary. We went on the arcade game where you try to get a cuddle toy. Louise went once adn got a dog, then I went 3 times and won twice and Brett went twice and lost both- what a loser! I gave him my dog and kept the Hedgehog. They now all have names, Wendy, Sydney and Jake. We spent 2 nights at Wollongong and on the 2nd day we walked to the city along the beach. I got a snorkel and me and Brett got body boards, after looking round the shops we went body boarding. It was rather fun. We then cooked while dressed in our bed sheets as we were cold. We fashined them to look like Arabs and we pretended to be in the desert.
Next day we went to the "swimming pool" by the beach which consisted of a sort of enclosed part of the sea with steps! It had fish, crabs, a herring and the odd duck in it and the big waves went over. It was absolutely freezing, but we had to go in as 6 80+ yr old Australian men had just been swimming up and down. I strange experience.
We then drove to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains...Â
