Well I had a nice JUICY steak here (just how Nisha likes it). We went to the beach and I went for a jog along it- I could get into jogging along the beach much nicer than the pavement or grass! Today we went for a surf lesson in the morning which was interesting! The coach was a bit of a prat and didn;t seem to understand that we wanted to have a laugh and he was being all serious, still I caught a few waves and steered a bit, I even stood up a few times but not for longer than about 2 secs max and I never really had my balance! Still it was really good fun and I can totally se how people get hooked, might have to try that again some time! Then we went to the beach and looked at how stupid the people that built the city are as the sky scrapers make a shadow on the beach around 3pm!!! Then we had to leave cos it's chucking it down with rain! On to Brisbane tomorrow where we're going to Steve Irwin's zoo and planning on getting some bikes for a day too!!! Should be interesting! ...

...Well that rain wasn't the half of it it rained continuously til the following evening hammering down, I got soaked from head to toe in the 3 mins it took to walk to the bathroom. I woke up in the night and my feet were soaked! We had had the window open an inch which is by my feet and the whole bottom half of my mattress and sleeping bag and blankets were drenched! And we couldn't dry them as it was still raining, pretty soon with most of the washing we were trying to dry the whole of the campervan was drenched!!! We ended up looking round the shops in surfer's paradise for a couple of hours before heading off to Brisbane when the worst of the rain had gone!
