Day 1: we arrived in the massive and really busy Heathrow airport after a long and boring 13 hour flight we got on the Tube and rode to the nearest station to our apartment we got a cab to our apartment where we we were shown to our lovely room it had heaps of space and a huge TV.
Day 2: Today we got an open top double decker bus around the city it was very different to Hong Kong no where near as much high rise also lovely old buildings and nice parks. We were having pretty good weather for london so there was alot to see on our trip we saw st pauls cathedral the biggest church i've ever seen, big ben westminster palace, The London eye and a lot of other stuff. One of the last things we did was see a 41 gun solute for the queens birthday there were huge cannons and a lot of dressed up horses and riders it was really great to see.
Day 3: I got up excited Dad and I were going to go on the London eye. after about 20 minutes queing we were in our pod and heading up it takes 30 minutes to go around and there were amazing views of London but it was a little scary when you looked down. Then we all went to get some tickets for a show in a theatre. Then we went to Hyde park I saw 5 squirells. Tonight we went to the theatre to see Les Misrebals Vanessa and Mum loved it Dad thought it was alright and I thought it was prety good but I didn't get to see the end because I fell asleep.
Day 4: This morning Dad went to buy a car While Mum, Vanessa and I went to the natural history mueseum it was in a big old beautiful building we walked in the front door to see a massive dinosaur it had a whole lot of things about animals, dinosaurs and the earth. Then we walked past the Albert memorial Queen Victoria got ti built for her dead husband when we got back to the apartment Dad was home and had bought a volvo station wagon for $5000 that will be our way around for the next 6 months. Later we all went to the Tower Of London first we saw some old siege weopens being fired they were amazing then we got aguided tour around the castel by a Yeoman Warder (Beef eater)He told us loots of interesting tales of Esecution, death and imprisonment that is because the tower of london used to be a prison and they would kill prisoners in gruesim ways. Last we looked at the crown jewels they were a huge amount of crowns, massive golden statue type things and other things they were fascinating and I'd love to own them. The tower of london was an awesome place it had big medievil towers and an almost 5 meter thick walls.
Day 5: we went to Madam Tussauds a big wax mueseum there were far to many people but it was pretty cool getting my photo with Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, the Queen, shrek, Jonah Lomu, Albert Einstian and lots more then we went to a huge shop selling oven baked tarantulas choclate covered scorpions and scorpion vodka. Also that night met Dads cousin Coiler she lives in london we had tea and then talked to almost midnight.
Day 6: Rushed out early to an ANZAC service in St Pauls the last post was played by a guard probably from Bukingham palace. We saw the tombs of Lord Horatio Nelson and the duke of nelson. We then took a bus to Westminster Abbey but couldn't get in. By then we were ready to go back so we did and spent the rest of the day packing and resting ready for Tomorrow.
