SPAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then France again
We arrived in Spain on a brilliant day we drove along the coast into Barcelona were we had a hotel booked. That night we went and had dinner in town there were lots of restaurants with tables out on the street and the Spanish food was yummy. The next day we went into the city it was really nice first we saw the enormous church that started being built 120 years ago and wont be finished till the year 2030 it had six high-rise Crain's working on it, it was called Sagrada Familia it was designed by Gaudi we saw more buildings designed by him they were very weird and creative. Then we wandered down the waterfront we climbed up a hill looking for a fort but we didn’t find it but we got a good view of the massive container port and the city. To get down we went on a gondola it went right over to the other side of the harbour and we got down in a glass lift. On the other side was a really nice beach which we walked down Barcelona is now one of my favourite cities. The next day we headed south down to a really nice camping ground right on the beach we spent three days there relaxing on the beach. Then we headed back to Barcelona were we flew to Ibiza really cheaply. While we were there we hired a car and spent our time exploring the whole island we looked at all the nice beaches but decided that the one we were staying on was the best we had a great time. The return flight was really scary because we flew through a storm and there were flash’s of lightning but we made it. Now it was time to head back. We found Vladimir at the airport and headed off back into France we drove through a massive rain storm and over the Millau viaduct which is 2.7 km long and the highest pillar was 326m high but we couldn’t see a thing because it was so foggy. We stayed the night in Le Puy in a nice hotel. In the morning we looked around the town which had natural volcanic rock pillars sticking up some had statues on them and one had a church on it!!! We then drove on the motor way to Troyes it was an amazing old city with ancient houses almost falling over on each other and nice parks and streets. The next day we moved again this time we drove to Fontaine Bleu were there was a massive château with massive formal gardens but then we carried on to an even bigger one this one was massive it had 700 rooms and gardens twice the size of our farm!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was amazing to walk around!!! We then drove around Paris to Beauvais we stayed in the town centre. The next morning we woke up and when we went to head off we realised the place we had left Vladimir (the car) in was now covered by a huge market and Vladimir had been towed away. Luckily we got the car back and we headed off. We tried to find the Azincourt battleground were the English won a famous we didn’t find it we just managed to get the car stuck. We got out and carried on to Boulogne were the next day we got a ferry back to the UK!!
