hey!

thanks for all the happy birthdays! weve been so busy this week! went on a tour of a favela on thursday, there will be fotos shortly.

it was the boat party on friday then went to a big street party at night where we were samba dancin with the locals in a big barn/chicken shed!

saturday we hut the beach to top up the tan - were onto the 3rd layer of skin! then went out for a bday meal at night and scoffed a huge paella meant for 2 but would have fed a small army, with a whole lobster stuffed underneath all the sheeaaaat. then downed a few cocktails only to find out liams card was declined and we had to be escorted to a cash machine (working now tho).

sunday we went to ipanema with a couple of guys from the hostel to see a parade but ended up in the irish pub and missed it! sunday night went back to ipanema for a huge street/beach party - f***in heavin! gid tho.

monday we went up the sugar loaf - fotos here soon. kymm was not imppressed at having to climb through the trees up the mountain while she was hungover but gid at the top. saw some monkeys but did not get the chance to look one in the eye so we dont know if ur theory is right shaun. monday night we got all dolled up in our kilts and face paint and hut the sambadrome where the main carnaval parade takes place. mega busy but cool, makes kelso parade and floats look like dogs***!

and today just tryin to get organised for the next phase.

hey sue an gus got our fotos on to disk to day so will get them sent over when the post office opens up again.

any ways gotta go coz the queue for the computer is gettin long.
