The 8th Day of the Feast is an amazing and wonderful day that represents the future of the world, the future of all mankind, our destiny, why we were born, so many wonderful things to come! We had one more day before the Last Day, the 8th Day, that great day of the Feast. It could either be hectic and memorable, or relaxed and memorable. We chose the latter. A final walk into downtown Sabaudia was in order. Our goal was to find some local pizza to taste just to make sure we could say that the pizza in Italy was good, and we weren't just amazed by being in Rome. It was so nice to finally sleep in a little bit on the Sabbath, to actually be able to rest some and not have anything terribly urgent to be doing or places to be going. We had a lot of excitement the day before, seeing Rome and wandering all over the place. I took a lot of photos in Rome, but probably couldn't tell you what is in half of them, except for the occasional tourist type roaming the streets of Rome. We had a very informative tour guide to take us through the streets, and even a little headset for transmitting her Italian accent so everyone could hear her even when we walked away from her or stopped to take a photo. This was our third trip to Sabaudia. We only ever went when it was cloudy or rainy or both. This time we waited till after 4:30pm so more of the shops would be open. It was great to spend some time with the kids. Again the small town with all its quaintness and charm was a pleasant place to spend the late afternoon. And of course before we left we spent some time at our regular little cafe.
