A day can really make a difference. For the past few days, being the beach snobs that we now are, we have thought that the Cat Ba beach was OK. But this wasn't just us, everybody we met made a comment of disappointment about the cloudy, littered sea. But we finally understand why Asian people live their life by the lunar calendar. Yesterday was a full moon and it definitely made a huge difference, producing a clear, emerald bay. Making the most of our last day on a beach for maybe a month we sat and soaked in the views and swam in beautiful water.

We ended the day at our new favourite street food restaurant with Craig and Melissa. They still like us after we gave them really bad hangovers today.
