Making use of the facilities we took a dip in the pool and sunbathed the hours away before our 'Jeep Tour' trip. We were crammed into the back of an old jeep and then set off towards 'Fairy Stream'. We are not sure what was 'fairy' about the muddy stream. Was it the smell of the fish sauce factory? The rubbish and sewage floating in it? The 'ride an ostrich' farm? Or the monkey on the lead in the free zoo? (We gave that one a miss!) Whatever it was, the driver ...

Vietnam win the award for the most luxurious buses so far as we spent the 5 hour journey to Mui Ne laid down on a bus full of beds, watching a film. The crazy driving is still very much a problem though. The accommodation we had booked looked top class online but in most cases it is just a picture that doesn't represent the standard of the hostel at all. Similar to the pictures of food in a kebab shop, they tempt you in to a purchase but it never looks or tastes...
