Today was full of sporting events. The day started by watching a surf competition in Coolum, however it wasn't the best day for it. Happy Birthday Buddha! Today we celebrated Buddha's birthday down at South Bank. After a dip in the 'sea', man-made oasis, in the centre of Brisbane city, we enjoyed an afternoon of kung-fu, bag-pipes, typo drums and Taiwanese street performances. Today it was back to school with the girls for assembly. With the rain pouring down outside and the Ska music playing in the hall the kids were on a high. Today we went to school with the girls! Our morning was spent in Maisie's class with her teacher Mr Pilon and the afternoon in Amelie's class with Miss Utz.
