So that's me all checked in to Base in Airlie Beach!! Still feels very weird that I;'ve now left Casino and won't be headin back there again :(

My last night was really good but had a few ups and downs. I've kinda had 3 leaving do's (in true Lesley fashion having a 3 day bender before leaving!)So for the past 3 days I've only been having 3-4 hours kip before getting up again and getting ready fr the next one! On Thursday I had David, Lue, Millie, Jason, Mitchel, patchy and Lj round at the pub and just had some bevvys, got wrecked, played pool and then ended up at Davids but ehy were all working in the morning so wasn't the big party at my palace like I expected but was still really good. Then Friday I was working in the kitchen in the morning then at 9. Done my last ever Bar Wars so was a good laugh but it's just not the same anymore cause people aren't as fun as they used to be so I can tell Bar Wars will die a slow death now I'm gone! But it was nice to have a lot of people up for it and gave it a wee send off! It was pretty dead though so me and Lj got away at 12 and just got right on it! Laura hd the idea of making me a wee 'Airlie Beach Fund Bucket' so people can donate their change to me before moving to Airlie Beach and when I had finished I looked in the bucket (well I went so I could get some money so I could buy a drink! Haha) and there was so much money in there and was even 2 $50 notes! It ended up that Ian (guy who races Greyhounds and has a mullet!) didn't want me to know he had put that money in cause he knew I would give him it back but it really touched me that he would look after me like that and I didn't even et to thank him or say goodbye to him. In the end I got $229.40 in my wee Airlie Beach fund so that's my accomodation sorted!! Woohoo!! It really made me sad to be leaving Casino cause everyone is so nice and friendly and really looks out for you!! Once the bar shut on Friday me and Laur had our last ever Friday night session and drank wine, passion pop and cider and listened to SHM and danced about the old flat!! Was so nice to have our last session and spraff away. Really gonna miss that lassie!

So after getting to bed at 7am and waking at 10am to pack and get ready etc I really couldn't be arsed drinking anymore. I really just wanted to have my last ever bath in the flat and watch some movies and chill with Lj but Nikki had organised a little going away thing so people were already waiting downstairs for me! I felt so bad because I was so tired I wasn't really the best company but I tried to suck it up and get on it... So I did!! It was a nice night with some people I am really close too but Greg ended up being quite a d*** so that put a dampner on the night a bit. It was just little things that there was no need for, for example; The 2 TV's had the music channel on all day then when he realises he turns one of them (the one we were sitting at) to f***ing KENO! So we all move down the other end next to the other TV thats playing good music and a bit later he comes down and changed the music channel from MTV to s***ty MAX where they just play old school old man tunes. I would understand if maybe someone had complained that we were playing chart music but we were the only people in the pub!! Just seemed really unnessessary especially cause it was my last night! I don't want to rip on him too much cause it just gets me really annoied but he's so lucky he has Nikki who's so kind and lovely or I don't think he would have any staff left! Everyone is so annoied at alot of stuff he does and how he treats us but NIkki turns it around and makes all situations better so they kinda balance eachother out! Really gonna miss Nik but definately going to keep in contact with her.

So after another 4 hour sleep night, we had to get up and start the journey to the airport. There was quite a bit of hassle of how I was to get to the airport but Jason is really nice and offered to drive me there cause it was "no bother!" I know I could think of better things than gettig up at 7am on Sunday to make a 6 hour round trip but he's just such a nice guy it didn't bother him at all!

So now, after a 3 hour drive to Brissy, a 1.5 hour Flight, a 1 hour ferry then a 5 minute taxi I',m here in Base Airlie!!!! I don't know how things are going to pan out or what's gonna happen but I am definately so excited and fingers crossed everything goes for the best!!
