Well we are finally leaving Melbourne. Gonna book a flight for the 2nd of July and head up to Cairns, as it is too cold for us here in Melbourne. Had a fantastic time, and gonna be leaving behind some really awesome friends, but I 'm sure we will be back at some point soon. Been working my arse off for the last month since I been back from England, so managed to save up a bit of dough, which I'm sure will not last long after a few nights out partying. Think its about 30 degrees in Cairns this time of year, so hopefully I will finally be able to start getting a tan, been here 5 months now and probably whiter than I was when I was in England, lol.

Went to Philip Island this week, which is south of Melbourne, spent couple of days there it was really cool, the weather was perfect, went there with my friends Becky and Ben and had an awesome time, just chilling out and sightseeing. Also went to a kangaroo park and got to feed them, this turned out to be a very thrilling exprience as kept getting mobbed by them as they knew that I had food, some of them were taller than me, which was quite scary. Was a fantastic day though. Will add some pics and videos on here for you all to laugth at soon!!! Hope you are all well, look forward to hearing from you. Bye for now!

Hey all, well me and Gareth have finally booked our flight now, we will be arriving in Cairns on the 7th July. Flying to Townsville, then we are picking a car up from the airport, then driving from there to Cairns, its only about 4 hours drive away, so should be fun, hopefully should not get lost as it is only 1 road!! Feels wierd leaving Melbourne as we have been here for so long, but onwards and upwards onto new and exciting experiences.

The thing I am most excited about is that I will be back in the sunshine again, leaving behind nearly 2 months of rain, cold, wind, and 2 days ago even hail!!!

Arrived in Townsville 4 days ago, spent 2 nights there, partied hard as expected, met some really cool people, managed to wrangle a free lift off someone up the coast to Cardwell, which is about a 2 hour drive noth of Townsville. We are planning on staying in this place for a few months to find some fruit picking work. Very small peaceful little ... Read morevillage, but the Hostel is really awesome, and we are right by the beach, although this is apparently occupied by crocs!! Behind us we have some beautiful mountains, with lots of walks and waterfalls to look at, so should be quite fun living here. We do also have a few restaurants, 1 pub, 1 bottle shop, and 1 supermarket!!!!

As there is no work here until probably Monday,I am heading up to Cairns today for a couple of days to see my friend Lucy, who I met in Cyprus, so I am really excited about that as have not seen her in a couple of years.
