After a long trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Singapore I crashed at my hostel with an early night. The next day I went to Orchard street, all decorated ready for Christmas. A little strange seeing Christmas decorations everywhere in the heat! That night I took a walk to the harbour to see the city lit up at night.

My second day in Singapore I took it easy and avoided going into all of the shopping malls like the day before, as there's only so much will power I have when it comes to new clothes! Early evening I took a shuttle to the Singapore zoo to go on the night safari. This was a new experience, as I got to see a lot of nocturnal animals active and close up. Something you don't get to see at home. Although I'm not entirely convinced that their enclosures were overly big, so they had little places to hide.
