Planned to go to Universal Studios today and then night tour tonight. Got up and ready and headed out to get the Hop on bus. The first stop was about 1/2 hrs walk away. Once on bus I got camera out to take some shots along the way but discovered that I had left the battery on charge at the hotel. So sat on bus for the full loop which 2 hours and then 1/2 hr walk back to hotel. It is very hot also today.
Got back to hotel and thought I would wait a bit before going back out there. Went back to bus and went on same loop. Stopped at a place called Pinks Hot Dogs. This is a famous place where celebrities go to and have dogs named after them. The queue was about 40 mins and was down the street. They it is like that 24 hrs a day. I got a Lord of the Rings which is a dog with BBQ sauce and onion rings. Was nice but maybe not 40 minute wait nice. Had to get back on bus to get to Graumans Chinese Theatre by 6 pm for the night tour. Got there right on 6, found where to check in and all ok. After a few minutes they announced that the tour was cancelled as only about 6 people were going. They gave a refund. What a waste of a day. I had a look around Hollywood and then caught the last bus back to where I caught the bus this morning and the another 1/2 hr walk home.
