The forecast was for squally winds , so we were advised not to sail today. It was a bit of a hardship as we had to spend the hottest day in the Yacht classic marina with its lovely pools and showers. The runners went for a challenging uphill run and others went for a swim before the trip to replenish our supplies. Some of the ladies wandered into town to the supermarket . But we came back without the essential ingredient for our spaghetti bog. It was soon lunchtime and siesta and sunbathing by the pool was a pleasant way to spend a hot afternoon. Occasional squalls took us by surprise and blew away our cushions and towels but they were rescued without too much panic.
A party went off to find the geocache and Jenny found her first cache and now is going to become a pro geocacher.
Beth spent the afternoon making a cake and panacotta, we did a late afternoon pilates class on the foredeck and another day had nearly gone . No mileage done but suntans topped up and food stocks replenished. We enjoyed another good meal at the yacht club with free coffes and went back to the boat for a game of Pit , but we made too much noise and so had to change it to silent pit which was an amusing alternative.
Jenny won the Don't Panic award for getting her first geocache.
