We had a few hours to spare this morning before going to the airport and it was another lovely morning so I took Graham on the Lakeshore Trail for a run. We went a bit further into Lincoln Park where there was a free zoo but we were too early to visit. We ran back to the hotel, Graham now analysing the different types of architecture of all the buildings.

It was then time to pack our stuff and say goodbye to our room. We had loved Chicago with its lovely parks, beaches, buildings, fantastic weather and of course the big event, the World Championships. We have done so much in such a short time, we will be going home for a rest.

The journey to the airport by bus and train was easy and we will soon be losing 6 hours of today and jumping into Tuesday.
