DAY 1:Cairo:

we arrived at half past midnight to 29 degrees and arrived at hotel abut 2 hours later where we slept till 12 the next day and missed brekkie! we then went for a wander and crosssed the death trap roads nearly dying twice and being laughed at by locals! we found lunch for a pound each :D took a tour of the coptic area of cairo and visited the hanging church, greek orthadox church and the resting place of the holy family and had a great guide meeeting his brother who was the police general! went for a dinner crusie on the nile wth our groupies, entertainment included a midgit and a belly dancer with a nipple hanging out! hilarious first day!

DAY 2: CAIRO

wake up call 7am to head to the giza pyramids, we snuck into the biggest using our blonde hair to its best advantage and managed to con the con man into a 3 pound camel ride! then went to the sphinx, the valley temple where mumification occurs and visited a papyrus museum.lunch on the bus was traditional koshery yum yum!! then went to the egyptian museum and saw tutankahmuns tresure, and gt guided round mummified animals including a 5ft crocodile and a baboon!! had a lovelly dinner and our first experience of egyptian shisha with our groupies! wikid!! set off for our 16 hour train journey overnight to aswan!! surprisingly comfortable but disgraceful toilets!

DAY 3: ASWAN!

Arrived at 2pm having slept for most or it and headed to a pool next to the nile. then explored local street market where were hounded by locals apparently we are worth 600 MILLION CAMELS! we learnt about egyptian marriage, no boyfriends and kissing untill married!! then went to an island for some nubian dinner, food was fantastic but live traditional nubian dancers and percussion band were even better! we were pulled up to dance in the middle, did a konga round the whole restaurant and kim had to give the kiss of life to a horse!!!on boat back band played for us and sang along whislt awswan was lit up under stars!

DAY 4: ASWAN

3am wake upcall (even more unimpressed!) for a police convoy and brekkie in a box to abu simbel. both of us were unwell, we managed to make it t the outside of the temple and get a picture before running back to spew our guts in the toilets (brim was even allowed in the mens for this event!) another 3 hour journey back and we boarded the FELUCCA!!!!!!!!!!
