hello everyone!

we are now in some kind of mountain town called bellingen, but before i tell you about here i shall tell you about whats happened so far.....

after leaving the tropical paradise of port stephens we moved on to port macourie (or something to that effect) - the place was a bit rubbish but we got our rods and went fishing for the day. at first we wernt very successful but then an old guy came along and showed us how to set up our rods and how to acctually catch some fish! in the end we caught two bream (i say we but i mean my friend tom).

after this succesful adventure we thought it would be cool to do some river fishing, so here we are in Bellingen. the hostel is in the mountains next to a river so we were able to go fishing yesterday too. we caught 3 more fish (i sya we but i mean my friend tom).

its a very chilled out little town and nobody seems to wear shoes, finally ive found a place hwere i fit in!

after cooking our fish on the BBQ (i was the only one who knew how to clean, gut and fillet the fish so it made me feel a bit more manly) we were invited to a house party, lots of people there. but no worries it was an interesting experience. the night left us all with a sligh hang over so we decided to take it easy today - tubbing down the river. it was pretty cool to float down the rapids on an old inner tube just watching the mountains roll by.

Im also now in a band called smokin lee jager - tom (the dutch guy im now traveling with if you didnt already know) is very good on the guitar and I blow into some thing called a montamonica (thats german for harmonica). so we have been busy writting our first song which you will no doubt hear on the radio soon, listen out for my montamonica solo!

heading to byron bay tomorrow sooooo lots of surfing coming up!
