I woke up fairly early, 9am, and couldn't get back to sleep for some reason. It was raining anyway so I just lounged around until Therese woke up at 11am. Everyone else in the room was asleep too. We both managed to get some sleep on the coach. Not easy sleeping on a coach though is it? You try to hold your head up, then start getting to sleep and your head just falls. We were woken up at "Surf O'clock" this morning - 7am. Could have some with another 5 hours sleep considering we've hardly had any due to one guy snoring all night and another coughing his lungs up. Quick change into our swim gear, brush teeth, checkout and down for breakfast. Pretty good breakfast actually with a mini fry-up, cereals, fruit and toast. At 8am we started our surf briefing. Up at 5.30am this morning! Woke up just before the alarm went off as well. Don't feel as tired when that happens. Checked out by 6.15am and ready for our bus which came at 6.25am. There were about 10 leaving from our hostel to get the same bus as us. It's called Oz Experience and is a hop-on hop-off bus taking us from Sydney to Cairns. There's lots of stop off points along the way and we can jump off wherever we like and stay as long as we want. Cost us £335 ea...
