The bus changed at Phuket then arrived in Krabi town at night. The views driving into krabi are (may I be so bold as to say) awe inspiring. Some how the earth has created these islands of limestone all around this area and it's left a stunning view in and around the island. We hadn't heard the best reviews about Phuket so we came just to change buses from Koh Lak to Krabi. When we arrived in the bus station we had to chose between minibus or 'VIP' bus. We went with the cheapest, the minibus.

We got picked up from our guesthouse bright and early and taken to the harbour for some coffee and toast. We picked some fins then boarded a speedboat to head for the Similan islands. We decided to get our clothes washed so we put them in first thing and headed off into the town to replace our flip flops. We hadn't had chance to replace the ones stolen in Koh Tao.
