I woke early because I was excited about seeing the beautiful Whitsundays and the famous heart reef and the Great Barrier Reef. I had a little look on the news on Lees phone.... There was a cyclone! Today we drove straight to Airlie beach and got there about 1pm. We found a hostel (that had powered parking) called magnums backpackers. It had a bar and tour agent and a cafe all in one little complex. We booked a flight over the Whitsundays for tomorrow and went for a walk along the strip. It's a cool little beach area.
