I woke first showered then painted my nails on the balcony, admiring the view, whilst Lee was next to get ready. The view was truly amazing! We had a panoramic view of the mountain range that surrounded us. It is such a beautiful place! Tracy stayed in bed whilst me and Lee went off to explore. We went to look at prices for tours. We ended up booking caving from our guesthouse, it was the cheapest and the most convenient. It was for the next day so we had the whole day to do what we wanted. Me and Lee decided on a bicycle ride. As we were walking to find bikes we bumped into the bus gang again. They were waiting for everyone, at their meeting point, to go tubing. So we scrapped the bikes and went with them. It was the best day! We bought our tube, got a tuk tuk to the river then started at the 1st bar. You get a free shot at every bar! (I swerved the whiskey shot and just got the free bracelet). They sold Smirnoff vodka buckets!!!! Once we'd finished our drinks we jumped in our tubes and floated to the next bar. Well you float down the river and the bars throw a lasso at the with a water bottle on the end then pull you in. Each bar has a dance deck, mushroom smoothies (I was too scared to try), swings into the water, zip lines, slides. It's just the most chilled out party on the water with the best vibe. We spent too long in the first few bars so by the time we were floating down the river the sun started to set... Next minute it was pitch black and cold! We stopped at a bar near the end with a bonfire to get warm then floated a little further until we could get out and got a tuk tuk back! Once back we all split up to get washed then met back up for drinks and food. We didn't end up going to the bucket bar or rock star bar (this is apparently the after hours party spot) because we were all chatting and chilling out plus we'd been drinking all day! The night ended with email addresses getting swopped, hugs and arrangments to meet up in Luang Prabang.
