We arrived again in Vientiane on our way down to Koh Samui. We went to some tour offices to compare prices then booked the train to Bangkok. We weren't getting picked up until 3 so we sat in a cafe and got some breakfast. We arranged to leave at 1pm to head for Vang Vieng so we lounged around (collected out laundry) then jumped aboard a mini van for 4 hours.

We woke at 8am the next day, still clothed, still dirty. We had just passed out. We were gutted we hadn't met up with the bus friends. I was gutted I hadn't washed!!!! We got washed and dressed then went off to find a new guesthouse and explore Vientiane. We found Mixay paradise. We arrived! We'd survived! The lovely people, off the bus, all shared a tuk tuk into the town with us. We split up and arranged to meet at 8pm once we'd found a room and got a wash.... Me and Lee went to the Riverside Inn threw our things in the room and went across the road to the restaurant across the way. We ate, went back to the room and collapsed on the bed.
