We got our bags from the bus and decided to walk to the hostel. It wasn't a big walk but we saw some strange sights. There were cable cars going up a hill to our right then to our left was a park. People were selling jewellery, popcorn, miniature pony rides, lama rides, people were kissing on benches like it was a competition to lick the other persons insides first. We leave Mendoza today, well not until 8pm so we decided we were going to spend the day planning the rest of the trip. Bamba can't confirm our travel details until they know the hostels we're staying at so we decided to make the trip easier and whilst we have a free day we could book the hostel up to Rio. Today we have a wine tour. It's not been too easy communicating with Bamba to organise our trip because we don't always have wifi. They're very last minute. We have only a couple of days in each place so if we don't get in touch with them soon enough to tell them where we're staying we may miss a tour. We arrived in Mendoza, got our bags off the bus and jumped in a taxi to a hostel. We were so tired but we wanted to see the town so we left our bags in the room and went for a wonder around. We woke and checked our emails.... Nothing. We cleaned up, packed and skyped home. I checked the news and the bus driver union had made an agreement. The strike was over! I sent an email to Bamba experience for an update and got a reply straight away saying they've booked our bus, the ticket will follow.
