Hi all
Well in Sukhothai at the moment a bit colder than normal but quite liking it.
this town is really nice i am staying in The Garden House. The day that i arrived i met this girl (have no idea how to say here name ) ands she can from one of the pacific island somewhere. We went in a reverse of a tuk tuk (usual passangers sit behind the driver but here you sit infrount of the driver. we went to the pottery village where nearly every house in the village does some sort of pottery. we saw men making the pots and it took about 3 mins per pot and thay make about 100-150 a day and these arnt just small ports they are half a meter tall. very impressed. on the way back we went by the back roads and was the other side of the village and all of the cropslots and lots of tabacco plants chilli plants and urite and veg. when i go back i had a quik look aroun \d the town then it started to pour down with rain so i watched a film.
the next day i go a bus to the old town which is where all of the ruins are. there were so many of them and very big, i hired a push bike (still not brave enough for a motor bike) and went around the ruins having a relaxing time. after lunch back to guest house to read. i wastrying to give this thai a english lesson but it wasnt going to well as i think he was better than me lol never mind. i have found that i am talking a lot solwer as most people out her dont understand me when i walk normaly. think it must be the essex accent.
last day her and going to go on a 7 hour bus journey (turned out to be 8 hrs) to the next town.
I forgot to mention when i was on the river trip a few days a go i saw a man eating Snake it was huge (wasnt able to take photo as they were charging and i didnt want to pay )) it was at least 6 meters long and in the mittle its body was at least a meter all the way around if not more could have easily eaten a child.
