Hi all

Before i start just want to say i did not eat the rat yuck, i havent eaten any thing dodgy although some people im with did eat chickens feet and the insides of a chicken not good but will tell you more later.

Ok in the north of Laos and it is so cold i have a bungalow on the side of the river and i was sleeping with my sleeping bag and 2 duvets,was a bit scared in the night there is a post in my room and there is something moving inside of it not good,

Travelling to the boarder from where i am i am going to travel east to cross the Laos Vietnam boarded what a nightmare, first stepget a bus form Non Kwai where i am to San Neuw wheich is near the boarded, bus is a 10 pm so at 9i was waiting with a greman guy and a french couple 11 comes 12, then 1 and still no sign on the bus so cold we give up and find a guest hose that will let us in, in the morning we find out the at the bus had broken down about 1 hr way never mind so i get a localbus to the next village with the german guy hoping to goon the the village after that no luck have no idea what the name of the village is but we get stuck there with no way out except waithing till 11pm for the bus to arrive, we manage to find a guest house that will let us stay and the will wake us up when the bus arrives,

was really good as the bus was on time only bad thing was that it was 11 hrs long. finallyafter some doddgy Laos music we arrive,i get my bag only tofind that soem one has spilt fish juice over it lovely now i smell of fish. i swap one german guy for another and first staying in posh hotel, and meat up with 2 british grils as well, we manage to find the cheepest room 50p each not bad,this is the town where i forund the rats, but i did not eat any i hope lol.

before sleep we try to see a cave but we have a flat tire and the tuime its fixed the cave was closed so we walk back thinking we didnt go far1 hr 30 mins later we arrive back at the bus station. sleep at last so tired after not sleeping well for 2 nights. but up early again as we have to catch the bus to the boared, i say goodbuy to the british girls as the are going the next day asthey want to see the caves my visa is running out so have to get out of the country, so me and Michael (greman guy) travel to the boarder, all cool getting throught they searched my bag although not very good as i had a knife on me and they didnt find it.

The nightmare now starts to go 100km in laos cost me 2 dollars in Vietnam they want 16.5 dollars hope it doesnt cost to much to ghet to hanoi as i only have another 20 dollars with me, well after another expensive bus journey and a night in a guest house ad another bus journey i finally arrive in Hanoi wit no money and the ATM at the bus station does not work, Me Michael and to british guys Craig and Richard get a taxi in tothe centre of town find a hotel and go insearch of an ATM which finaly i find yay.

well hanoi is a completely differne story which i will tell you next time im on the internet, missing oyu all loads off to have some dinner now bye xxxx
