Hi all

Well i have left Nong khai and travelled to Laos. it was quite easy to cross the boarded especialy as i had a Visa already some of the people who didnt hadf to wait around for a wile to get the visas issued. i walked straight pass them, did feel a bit sorry for them as really hot. I travelled to Vientian i is really pretty here the French used to run the country so a lot of french buildings. I arrived late in the afternoon and had a bit of trouble finding a rooom but found on in the end. i went for a walk and as the sun was setting i walked along the mekong river and saw the sun set over thailand which was on the other side of the river. Along the side of the river there are lots of resturants so after having a look aroundi chose a nice place to eat.,. i had this soup thing that came in a basket there was a plant pot full of hot cole and a pot on top full of soup you added the meat veg and noodles your self very good. Next day i went to the morning market full of material and gifts. but i was feeling unwell have had chest pains for the last few days went to the doctors and they told me i have had a alergic reaction to the anti malaria drugs that i was on so on antibiotics at the moment to clear the damage that it has done to my throat. but feeling much better today.

I am going to be heading south for a few weeks then coming back to vienteine and hopefully then i will be able to see more of it second time around.
