Hi All
Well what have i been up to the last few days, well i left Vng Vieng and got a bus to Lung Prebang the bus journey was long and very bendy it was 9 hours long. on the way to lang prebang i met theis lady who asked if we could share the price of a room her name was Helena and she was from Slavinia she was crazy really talkative but really nice, after 1 hour of walking around the town we managed to find a place that was cheep enough that we could afford it.
that night helena realises that she left her jumper on the bus so she heads back there and we arrange to met afterwards well 1 hour passed and i could not find her so i gave up we would met up in the room late. so i went for a massage as back was saw and then for dinner and try to sleep but helena wanted to talk so i did till i fell asleep.
first full day in town and we go for breakfast they have the best baggettes they are so good salad chicken and sweet chilli sauce so good after breakfast i went to a water fall manageed to get a cheep tuk tuk to the waterfall and it was really pretty there were lots of different levels and you could also swim it was so cold frezzing, but it was very refreshing.
At the bottom of the fall there was a mini zoo well there was only 1 Tiger and about 6 Bears they had all been rescued and could not be released back in to the wild. thay all looked well looked after which i was happy about i read that they were sponcered by a british charity.
Once i had returned back to town i went to explore the town there are many temples, helena wasnt feeling well so i went on my own i got a little picnic and went and sat on the hill to eat where i had a lovely view of the town.
That night we managed to find a buffef meal that cost ,000 kip about 30p and you ate as much as you could pile on to your plate so good managed to try a lot of new food.
The next day Helena was still not feeling well so i went off exploring in the middle of the town there is a hill and up the top of it are several temples, so i climbed and si climbed and then there was a sign 130 steps down 190 u, not even half way up so knackered when i got to the top but so worth it you could see the hole of the town.
once i was down the hill (just as hard getting down as steps uneven) i decided to get a tuk tuk and go vist some caves, on the way we stoped of at a wiskey making village where i tried some of the local stuff was ok and wasnt as strong as i thought it was going to be.
the caves were really good but i had to climb up a lot of steps to get to the top very exausting espesially after walking up the hill earlier that morning. very dark inside and i was taking photos using my flash to guide me as i forgot my tourch.
so tired when i got back i had a nap then went for dinner and a look around all of the night markets so many here think in total there were 4 so a lot to see very pretty scaffs and craft.
in the morning i left i left helena behind as she had to wait for her pasport as she needed a visa and i headed further north to see the mountains and to head in to Vietnam.
well better go will tell you my boarder crossing experiance next time.
