Well I got the cooking class organised! My first choice was fully booked but the second one I tried had availability and I'm very happy it did! One of the highlights of northern Thailand! Benny's home cook school was great! Picked up in the morning and met my fellow chefs for the day and then went for a tour round a local market before heading to Benny's home where her cook school is based. Well big catch up here! Clearly not cut out for this blogging thing always forget to update it!Bus to Chiang Mai was actually OK! Stopped at a rest point about 11pm then had a nice restless sleep till we arrived. Got my ticket for Chiang Rai waited 2 hours then was off on another bus for 3+ hours! Was sitting next to a Swiss lad on the bus so we had a chat and swapped stories which helped pass the time!Had 3 nights in Chiang Rai but on hindsight probably too long...

Well that's me finished my volunteering stint at Safari Park very sad to leave , not too proud to admit I might've had something in my eye saying goodbye to some of the animals. Definitely going to miss Chutney, Trouble and the cubs; especially Rose (still think that's a rubbish name for a Tiger though.) And Spot the zebra had her baby Tuesday night! Well that's me two weeks in to volunteering and I've done things I never thought I would! Scratching a gibbons back, hand feeding macaques, giraffe, zebra and of course the cubs! Also took a leopard for a walk this morning! As you do on a Sunday! Made it to safari park in one piece with the company of new buddies! (Candice, Natalie and Thu) Bit of a rocky start but a few days in and getting into the swing of things! Spent first few days on rescue team, so that involves a lot of mildly/highly psychotic monkeys trying to grab you through the fencing.
