Wednesday March 10th -- Day Six
Today we awakened to dew and humidity, two things that are not welcome when trying to pack up tents and gear!We were on the road shortly after 7am ready for a full on day of driving. We covered approx 590kms today!!!Our stops today consisted of yet another roadhouse that was extremely overpriced… I'm talking about $1.50 for a single gummie worm!!!Our other stop was at a civilized town in the middle of NOWHERE!The town was called Tom Price and is only built up because it is well respected for its iron ore mining.A few more hours of driving and we reached our campsite for the next 2 days.We set up camp literally in the outback within Karijini National Park.Red dirt (that stains everything it touches), dingos and lots of flies for the next few days!I was on the cooking crew today, so the evening was spent firing up the barbie. We definitely cooked the fanciest meal I've EVER had while camping: sausages, mashed potatoes, steak, vegetable fritters (kinda like homemade veggie burgers), BBQ'd squash and salad! It was definitely a long dinner prep considering we were cooking for 40 people, but well worth it!After cleaning up dinner I went straight to bed.

David TOM PRICE?! That's the funniest thing I've read so far.
