Finally getting around to writing another blog! Still over a month behind and barely any pictures uploaded! Its just a bit to much effort really.

Anyways palenque was a great set of ruins! definately the best so far and my favourite of all the ones i saw. They are set in the jungle and you can explore several internal corridors in the palace, which is really fun and makes you feel like an explorer rather than a tourist. Palenque town itself its an utter dive and i would never stay there again. Although i did see a littel black scorpion wandering along the pavement! Instead we spent most of our time in a place near the ruins called el panchan. It was really cool and had cabañas in the jungle. I wish we had stayed there but we didnt know about it until too late. The bugs would have scared me though.
