We are most impressed with your epic walk and the terrain you have been travelling through. Your photos are just great! We thought we had achieved something on sunday when, after a night of scottish dancing, we walked Gowbarrow Fell and had wonderful views of Ullswater. However, that is nothing compared with your efforts. Looking forward to following your progress as you burn up the miles, well done. Hasta pronto! John and Jude

Great to hear from you both and it's nice to know you are keeping the old routine going. We are currently enjoying a posh meal having ditched the pilgrim special. Got to go now as the Turbot and Halibut has just arrived! All the best L and S

Nick thx for your note and think you should get organised to do this sometime - you would love it. We have eaten so many ham and cheese bocadillos that we are trying cut down on the gluten at the moment as not many other options for lunch on the hoof. L & S

Willy thx for your msg and you should plan to do this with B it would blow you away. It's tough mentally as well as physically but so rewarding. I think half the people we meet are our age or older not fitter than us but they seem to do the miles every day. Very uplifting. L
